The latest release of macOS Catalina (10.15) increases enforcement of security policies specific to SSL certificates. For background information, see
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT210176
Due to the certificate requirements, users on macOS Catalina (10.15) attempting to access a IBM Spectrum Control instance that was newly installed after July 1, 2019 are affected by the new certificate policies. Spectrum Control instances that were installed prior to July 1, 2019 or upgraded since July 1, 2019 are not affected by the new certificate policies.
Any application on macOS that uses the Keychain Access controls to manage certificates is now subject to these new SSL policies, which includes web browsers. Google Chrome completely blocks access to Spectrum Control due to the new certificate policies. Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari present the user with a certificate warning, but the user can proceed by accepting the certificate warning.
Bypassing the warning on Apple Safari:

Bypassing the warning on Mozilla Firefox:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/error-codes-secure-websites#w_bypassing-the-warning
Note, for Google Chrome users, you cannot bypass the blocked access. This issue will be addressed in IBM Spectrum Control Version 5.3.6. The current workaround for users on macOS Catalina (10.15+) is to use a different browser other than Google Chrome.
